I do this every year.
I forgot my birthday.
Well...perhaps that is a tad misleading. I've been well aware that I've got a birthday on the way, I just wasn't giving it much thought. The scenario is actually "I forgot my birthday and my car tags are due". To make it even better, add on "My driver's license will expire". Wow..has it already been four years?
I'll have to drive with an expired license for a day or so, until I have the spare..oh...FOUR hours to spend at the *^$&#@$&$ DMV on Wednesday.
I'll take care of the tags on Monday. Thankfully, it has been my experience that the line at the tag office moves fairly quickly...provided you are the first person at the door when they open. Then I'll have some time to kill until 10:00, which is when I have to be at work. This can only mean one thing....
